Project manager CVs need to demonstrate delivery track record, stakeholder management, and methodology knowledge simultaneously. Here's the structure that works for UK PM roles.
Personal statement → Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, MSP — near the top because they're the primary filter) → Work experience with project highlights → Education → Technical skills (tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.). Project managers should include a brief "Key projects" section summarising their 3 most impressive delivered projects with budget, timeline, team size, and outcome.

Every project in your CV should communicate four things: what the project delivered, the scale (budget, team, timeline), your specific role and key decisions, and the outcome against targets. Avoid passive language — own your achievements.
Weak: "Responsible for managing a CRM implementation project." Strong: "Led end-to-end Salesforce CRM implementation for 350-user organisation, delivering in 14 months against a 16-month schedule and £1.8m budget, achieving 92% user adoption within 30 days of go-live."
In the UK, PRINCE2 remains the most recognised project management certification in the public sector, financial services, and traditional enterprise environments. PMP has stronger recognition in US-headquartered companies and tech firms. Agile certifications (SAFe, AgilePM, PMI-ACP) are increasingly valued as organisations adopt hybrid delivery approaches. If you hold multiple, list all — they're not mutually exclusive and signal breadth.
